The 9th Pacific-Rim Symposium on Image and Video Technology (PSIVT 2019) Organizing Committee invites proposals for Demos or Exhibits to be held in conjunction with PSIVT 2019 in Sydney, Australia, 18th to 22nd of November, 2019. The scope of the proposal should be consistent with the conference themes.
The purpose of demos or exhibits is to give researchers or the industry the opportunity to showcase their contributions or products. All demo submissions will be evaluated based on originality, technical soundness and clarity of explanations. Space for equipment will be provided and requirements need to be detailed in the submission. All demonstrators are required to bring their own computing equipment and any additional display, sensor, and hardware needed for the demonstration at their own expense.
Submissions (in pdf format) should include author or demonstrator names, affiliation and contact information, a brief description of the demonstrated system or the shown products, and a list of appliances the demonstration requires in addition to a table and electric power.
If a demo proposal is attached to an accepted PSIVT 2019 main conference or workshop paper, it should be indicated in the submission. Authors are encouraged to provide a link to a website that describes or illustrates the demonstration (e.g. by containing a video, slides or an interactive presentation).
