CULTURAL TOUR OF SINGAPORE
CITY TOUR ITINERARY
October 3, 2013 (Thursday)
Depart from NTU: 2:00PM by bus
Assembly Point: LT3 at 1:45pm

STOP 1: Chinatown - experience and get a fascinating peek into Chinese culture and history in Singapore.

STOP 2: Little India - explore the rich ethnic Indian culture in Singapore.  Take this chance to look at Indian wood carving and colourful silk saris.

STOP 3: Merlion Park - visit this landmark monument and learn about this mythology creature which is Singapore's tourism icon.  

STOP 4: Esplanade - enjoy a trip at this popular waterfront area of Singapore. Standing with its distinctive roof, the Esplanade emerge from the foreground of Marina Bay as a contemporary icon with a sweeping view of the Singapore Flyer and Marina Bay Sands. 

STOP 5: Gardens By The Bay - a journey to the most exotic species in the cooled conservatories of Flower Dome, wander amongst thousand-year-old olive trees and unusual Baobab of the cool-dry Mediterranean floral display . Walk into Cloud Forest and have the opportunity to explore the highlands amidst orchids pitcher plants & fern from the cool-moist tropical Montana region, complete with a 35-metre man-made mountain and waterfall.

The tour will end at about 6.30pm. The group will then depart for Banquet at East Coast Seafood Centre.
