Conference Registration Category and Rates:

Attendees may register under the following registration categories. All registration categories include one set of CD-ROM conference Proceedings, one Book of Abstracts, and access to technical sessions, coffee breaks, luncheons and welcome reception.

Please note:

  1. All conference attendees must register. Personal badges will be provided to identify registered participants. A confirmation of your payment will be sent to you after your payment is processed and we have confirmed receipt of your payment.
  2. A registration email letter will be sent to your email address two weeks before the conference. Please print and present this registration email at the Registration Desk to pick up your conference kit. Students will need to provide their current and valid student card to qualify for the student rate.
  1. For a paper to be published in the conference proceedings and be included in the conference programs, at least one author must register and pay the appropriate fees by 16 April 2008.
  1. Each full or student registration fee entitles one paper publication in the conference proceedings.
  1. Additional paper fee: Except for the paper accompanying the registration, each additional paper, up to a maximum of two, by the same author will cost an additional fee of USD 150 per paper.
  1. Delegate Member Rate: Members of IEEE are entitled to the "Member" rate. Members who register under this category need to provide a valid IEEE membership number.
  1. Student Rate: All student registration must submit a copy of a valid proof for your student status by fax to (65) 6356 7471 or email to: cisram@inmeet.com.sg. Please indicate your name and (2008 CIS & RAM) on the document.
  1. Additional page charge: Papers will only be accepted if formatted according to 2008 IEEE CIS & RAM specifications. Each full or student registration includes publication of one paper (up to 6 pages in length) in the conference proceedings. A maximum of 2 additional pages are allowed per registration subject to payment of the Additional Page Fee. An additional page charge of USD 50 per page applies for over-length papers (of 7 or 8 pages).
  1. Extra banquet tickets can be purchased at USD 50 per ticket.
  1. Extra proceeding CDs can be purchased at USD 75 per set.
  1. Disclaimer: By registering for 2008 IEEE CIS & RAM, the participant agrees that she/he shall not hold the organizer liable should the holding of the conference be hindered, affected or prevented in any way by any unexpected events or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes. With registration, the participant accepts this proviso.

 

Payment Procedure

  1. Regardless of the mode of payment, all registrants have to complete the online registration form
  2. Payment modes available are: Credit Card or Cheque/Bankdraft

For online payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard):

  1. Complete the online registration and select the payment mode as Visa or MasterCard.
  2. You will be re-directed to a secured payment portal by WorldPay to perform your online payment.
  3. Once your transaction is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from WorldPay, followed by the registration confirmation email from the conference manager.
  4. Please note that if you used another person's credit card to make the payment, you will be requested to submit the credit card authorization form. This form will be sent to you by email.
  5. The merchant name reflected on your credit card bill will be "Integrated Meetings Specialist (Holdings) Pte Ltd".

For cheque / bankdraft payment:

  1. Complete the online registration and select the payment mode as Cheque or Bankdraft.
  2. Only cheques/bankdrafts drawn from a Singapore bank or an international bank with a local branch in Singapore is acceptable.
  3. For participants from China, you can get a bank draft in US dollars, from the Bank of China.
  4. Bank account name to issue the cheque/bankdraft: "IEEE CIS/RAM 2008".
  5. Print a copy of the invoice from the online registration system, and mail it, together with the cheqye/bankdraft to the address as indicated on the invoice.
  6. Please remember to indicate your login ID, name, telephone or email and the symposium name at the back of the cheque/bank draft.
  7. Upon receipt of your cheque/bankdraft, you will receive a notification by email.
  8. When your cheque/bankdraft is cleared by the bank, you will receive the registration confirmation by email.
